Local Law Firm to Give Away Free Booster Seats
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL (July 22, 2009) - The law firm of Gordon & Doner has partnered with the Palm Beach County Safe Kids Coalition and WPTV News Channel 5 to educate families on the importance of proper child safety seat installation. On August 1 st , 20 local families will receive a free booster seat and safety instructions from a licensed technician at the Gordon & Doner office in Palm Beach Gardens.
According to the Safe Kids Coalition, each year an estimated 2,446 children, ages 14 years and under, die in a motor vehicle incident. In addition, motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death to children ages 2 to 14, and the leading cause of injury-related death for children under 2. When installed and used correctly, child safety seats and safety belts can prevent injuries and save lives.
To enter the drawing for a free booster seat please send your name, address, phone number and age of your child to: Buckle Up Kids, c/o WPTV, 1100 Banyan Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33408. The 20 winners will be randomly selected and notified by phone before August 1 st .
