Tom Faragoi is an associate attorney with the firm’s Veterans Benefits Group. As a Veteran himself, Tom is a dedicated and experienced advocate for Disabled Veterans.
Tom has extensive experience in Veterans law and disability benefits. While on active duty in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, Tom served as a Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) Counsel with the Office of Soldiers’ Counsel (OSC) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State. He represented over 500 Soldiers in their disability evaluation system cases related to fitness to continue military service, eligibility for disability compensation, disability codes and percentage rating, disposition, and whether or not the injury or illness is combat-related. After leaving active duty, Tom represented wounded, ill and injured Soldiers at Fort Carson, Colorado. There, he served as a Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) Counsel, assisting over 2,500 Soldiers in their pursuit of VA compensation for service connected disabilities.
Tom is a member of both the Florida and Illinois State Bar. He graduated from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, and also holds an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Health Law and Policy from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago.
