A seven year old boy was killed after being attacked by two bulldogs while riding his bike home from school in Callaway, Florida. The boy was pronounced dead on Sunday afternoon as he suffered from a punctured carotid artery.

While investigating the scene, officers reported the man washing blood from the dogs face and also arrested the man for possession of drugs.  The man is being charged with tampering with evidence and could face additional charges.

With approximately 72 percent of dog bite attacks on children, people must provide better training for their pets.  Statistics show that every day nearly 1,000 U.S. citizens require emergency care due to dog bite injuries, while most are not fatal, these negligent owners must be held accountable for the actions of their animals.
