Pedestrian Killed by Crane on Palm Beach

A "very large" crane that was driving at the intersection of South County Rd and Royal Palm Way in Palm Beach this morning struck and killed a pedestrian. The fatal accident occurred at about 9:30 a.m., and authorities are speaking with the crane's driver about the incident.

A pedestrian has been killed at the intersection of South County Road and Royal Palm Way.

An investigation is underway and traffic in the area is stopped. The crash happened about 9:30 a.m.

The pedestrian was struck by a very large crane that was driving on the road, authorities told The Palm Beach Daily News.
