A troubling accident occurs last night in Clearwater, Florida. At about 3:45 a.m., a stolen 2012 Toyota was speeding on Douglas Avenue, heading south. The driver lost control of the vehicle and ended up crashing to a concrete pole when they attempted to make a turn on Overbrook Avenue heading east.
The crash into the concrete pole has caused approximately $20,000 worth of damage, yet the driver of the stolen car has yet to be found. When the police arrived at the scene of the crash, the rescue units found a passenger in the front seat and a passenger in the backseat, however, the driver was nowhere to be found.
Joshua Davis, the 17 year old passenger in the front seat, and Teron Dudley, the 14 year old passenger in the backseat, were taken to the hospital immediately following the accident. Davis suffered from serious injuries, while Dudley endured life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the investigation continues to find the driver of the stolen 2012 Toyota which was taken on October 30th from 1700 block of Sunset drive.
