Jonathan Butler is the partner in charge of Gordon & Partner’s nationwide Diminished Value practice, including its Supercarclaims.com division. Jonathan and his team focus on the recovery of loss of value and loss of use resulting from damaged and repaired motor vehicles due to the negligence of third parties.
Jonathan has over 27 years of experience as a trial lawyer in complex business and class action litigation in state and federal courts. He routinely litigates a variety of business and commercial disputes, including corporate, partnership, joint venture and limited liability company disputes, officer and director liability, restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements, contractual disputes, fraudulent and unfair trade practices, intentional interference with business relations, defamation, trade secret and intellectual property disputes, and other business-related torts.
In addition to his diminished value and business litigation practice, Jonathan also heads up the firm’s Securities Litigation and Arbitration practice. He has significant experience representing investors in a wide range of securities and investment related matters throughout Florida and the United States, including the arbitration and mediation of customer, industry and employment disputes before the FINRA Dispute Resolution. Jonathan also frequently counsels and represents advisors in industry disputes as well as regulatory enforcement and disciplinary proceedings before FINRA, the Securities and Exchange Commission and other financial regulatory authorities.
