Robert Fanning is an associate attorney with the firm’s Veterans Benefits Group. Robert, a Massachusetts native, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps immediately after graduating from Elmira College in 2007. He served as a Recon Marine and deployed in 2010 as a member of a 2d Force Reconnaissance Platoon in support of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit onboard the USS Nassau. In 2011, he deployed with 3d Reconnaissance Battalion, Bravo Company to Sangin Valley, Afghanistan.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Robert attended Hofstra Law School in Long Island, New York. Robert spent the first part of his legal career working for reputable civil litigation defense firms in New York City. He has since relocated to Florida and joined Gordon & Partners in their Veterans Benefits Group. Robert has extensive knowledge of military matters and issues that Veterans face as a result of their sacrifice and service to our nation. He has dedicated his career to serving America’s Veterans and military families.
During his free time, Robert enjoys reading and traveling to national parks and historical sites. He also enjoys watching sports and spending time with friends and family.
