Attorney Gary Alex Russo spent twelve years as a clerk and associate at the renowned law firm of Slawson, Burman, and Critton before founding his own firm in 1994. Specializing in high-profile bad faith insurance claims, personal injury, and complex construction defect cases, Mr. Russo is committed to the belief that an attorney’s foremost duty is to protect those in need, prioritizing people over profits.
With over 35 years of experience, Mr. Russo has handled a spectrum of cases, from pro bono matters to multi-million dollar awards. As a nationally board-certified trial attorney, he has been actively involved in various legal organizations, including the Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers, The American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. Notably, Mr. Russo also serves as an “attorney of counsel” for the esteemed law firm of Gordon & Partners, contributing to the litigation of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Benefits to ensure proper processing of medical bills in automobile accidents.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Russo values family and community. He met his wife Cathy at the age of 13, and they have been married for over 30 years, raising three children together. The family shares a strong connection to the University of Florida, where Mr. Russo, Cathy, and their son Nick all obtained undergraduate degrees. Mr. Russo graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. His daughter Ashley holds an architectural degree and is involved in designing homes and orphanages for a nonprofit organization, presently on a mission in Cambodia with her family. The youngest daughter, Dilynn, is an attorney at The Russo Law Firm, specializing in adoption, child abuse, and injury law.
