Using groundbreaking technology, the car company has created an inflatable, rear facing and lightweight seat that inflates in less than 40 seconds and weights approximately 10 lbs, which is less than half of most current safety seats.
The concept has many applications, although was created for parents and grandparents who need a portable, storable child seat that can be quickly and easily moved from vehicle to vehicle.
With additional features that include Bluetooth connectivity, the seat can also be inflated from a remote location, which may be available via a downloadable cell phone app.
